Lynx On Deck

At dawn, September 19, 2017, eight Lynx - a Mama and her seven kittens - for an unbelievable 40 minutes - transformed the deck of my Alaska home into a lynx playground! I raced from window to window, snapping one magical scene after another, incredulous that these usually unseen creatures had not disappeared moments after I saw them (as lynx usually do) and that they were so energetically playful after their long night of hunting in the cold autumn rain.
